Prof. Brahma ( born 01-11-1946 in Brahmanbaria./ India), a life fellow of The Institution of
Engineers ( India),8 Gokhale Road,Kolkata 20, FIE , actively engaged as Convener of
WBSC/IEI ,Chem. Engg Div and as Visiting Professor of Institute of Genetic engineering (IGE)
Badu, Madhamgram, the teaching and research activities on Molecular Biology Environment,
Bioprocess and Biotechnology .Before that Prof Brahma completed his double graduations,
Distinction, B.Sc Calcutta University, B.tech,M.tech, Technical University Berlin(TUB) and
Doctoral work in Max-Planck Institute of Immune Biology, Germany )1966-1986.Since 1986 Prof.
Brahma was actively engaged as Sr. Scientist and as Lecturer in JU and IIT KGP, Chemical. Engg
Dept.and continued till 31-10-2011.
Prof Brahma published more than 100 articles related to Genetic engineering, Chemical and BioChemical Process Technology.
